Data Protection:

Use this address for:

  • Internal enquiries, advice and processes relating to data protection.

  • Personal data breach reports.

  • Requests regarding the exercise of your rights as an individual (including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability).


Data Protection Officer:

Only use this address if you wish to contact the DPO directly within their statutory capacity, including receiving assistance with and/or escalating pending requests regarding the exercise of your rights as an individual.

The designated DPO of the University of Cambridge (including Cambridge University Press & Assessment) under the UK GDPR is Trilateral Research.


Freedom of Information:

Use this address for requests under (and internal enquiries and advice relating to) the Freedom of Information Act 2000.


Records Management: 

Use this address for internal enquiries and advice relating to records management.


The Information Compliance Office forms part of the University's Governance and Compliance Division.


Please note that each of the 31 Cambridge Colleges is a legally separate entity, data controller and public authority handling its own data protection and FOI compliance.  The statutory Data Protection Officer for all of the Cambridge Colleges is the Office of Intercollegiate Services.
